It’s been a little over a year since our engagement party! Let me tell you though – life was so much easier then! Last January, we were able to party our little hearts out without worrying about COVID. Honestly, I think I speak for every bride when I say COVID has truly given us a WTF year! But even then, I am so grateful to have been able to celebrate our engagement with our family and friends.

It took me a while to figure out what invitations to send for our engagement party but once I saw these on Minted, the gold foil made me fall in love. This invitiation suite comes with matching stamps, favor stickers and favor tags. A few other things included in the price are:

• Corresponding envelope slip-in liners
• Unlimited proofs with the designer

I absolutely loved working with Minted and was hoping to continue working with them throughout the wedding process but as you’ll see later on during our other #WeddingWednesdays – the look I am going for is not offered at many places.

I just wanted to clue you guys in a few things about what wedding planning has done to me — I’ve become OBSESSED with all things ETSY! For the engagement party favors, we went with Tito’s vodka and Rosé! I bought rose gold instant download and fully editable favor tags and used my fave Beyonce phrase “Drunk in Love” since I thought it was catchy and cute (+ so easy to make)! They were a BIG hit!

Now for the FASHION: both my mom and I are wearing Retrofete and while the specific color we chose is sold out; they have the exact same outfit in various different colors! I really reccomend Retrofete as the fit and the style of all their clothing is amazing but they can also be a little bit pricey so I’m linking a few other items you can wear to your engagement party that are more affordable!
